Establishment:

Our Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design was established under the Rectorate of Kayseri University with the Law on the Amendment of the Higher Education Law and Some Laws and Decrees, published in the Official Gazette dated May 18, 2018 and numbered 30425. The proposal of the Presidency of Kayseri University to open departments and departments within our university was examined at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting dated 16.01.2019 and in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of the Law No. Along with this, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was opened.

Program Profile:

Electrical - Electronics Engineering is a multidisciplinary and integrated engineering branch that emerged with the changing market conditions and customer expectations as a result of the rapid advancement of technology. In this direction, graduates in academic and industrial fields; It is an engineering program in which it works hard to improve existing systems or to develop faster and more reliable technologies to replace existing systems, and to develop new technologies to solve different problems.

Department Mission:

The competition to push the boundaries of research and development at the international level with high professional ethics adopted, preserving humanitarian values in the field of latest technologies and to be able to follow the requirements and are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge at a level that can update their information and thus able to come up with creative solutions to the problems of our age and lasting, analytical thinking, problem-solving and modelling skills with researchers, engineers is to educate.

Department Vision:

To provide the students and graduates of our department with up-to-date technological equipment, to acquire the permanent practical experience required by Electrical and Electronics Engineering, to take an active role in scientific, technological and academic activities at national and international level and to contribute to social development.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduates can be employed in various public and private sector organizations to work in many fields such as electricity, electronics, hardware, telecommunications, control and automation, research and development, defense industry, aviation. Graduates and even students who want to be entrepreneurs have the opportunity to develop their own business ideas and establish a company with the support of the private sector and public institutions. Moreover;

• Many of the areas that need to be supported with priority, determined by TÜBİTAK and other R&D support institutions, cover the subjects of Electrical - Electronics Engineering.
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering has a great job opportunity potential in terms of the development and production of domestic and national technologies of our country.

• Graduates of the department can continue their graduate and doctorate education in different departments in line with their interests.

Transition to Senior Programs

Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education, provided that they get a valid grade from the ALES exam and have sufficient English language knowledge; they can study Master's and Doctorate in their own fields or in different departments related to their fields.
